Don't have time for your waves or curls? You can do this routine in 15 minutes.

Yes, you can definitely style your curls in less than 30 minutes. Just keep in mind that for some people, a quicker routine can also mean that your curls or waves may frizz more quickly compared to a more extensive routine, as explained in this blog. And that’s okay! Sometimes we just don’t have that much time, or our hair isn’t a priority at that moment, and whatever the reason may be...

The most important thing is to take care of your hair and wear it with confidence, instead of straightening it every time you don't have time.

Below, I'll explain the quick routine step by step.

  • Wash your hair with shampoo and use conditioner if you think it's necessary. Personally, I don't always use conditioner because my hair is already soft enough. I prefer a leave-in conditioner.

  • Bring your hair all the way to the front and make sure there are no tangles. You can do this by combing it with a wide-toothed comb or with your fingers.

  • Apply your styling products, such as gel and mousse. Make sure they aren't too heavy for your hair, because heavy products will also make your hair take much longer to dry. Below are my favorite combinations.

  • Use a styling brush to create loose sections of your hair. Make sure to keep moving as you do this so your scalp doesn't get flattened. I use the latest brush from Bounce Curl, which lets you detangle and style your hair at the same time.

  • Brush forward, to the sides, and backward, keeping it moving. Then scrunch your hair and make sure it's thoroughly saturated with water.

  • Use a T-shirt or a microfiber towel to remove the excess water.

  • Only then should you step out of the shower. You can also leave your hair wrapped in a towel or T-shirt while you get dressed or put on your makeup.

  • Always use a hair dryer. This is better than leaving your hair wet all day. You don’t have to blow-dry it completely just to save time. For example, you can blow-dry it for 10 to 15 minutes until the products create a light sheen in your hair, and then just let the rest air dry.

That's it! Pretty simple, right?
